We provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore and address disordered eating behaviors and struggles with chronic dieting, while focusing on sustainable, restorative practices that align with your unique life and goals.

Considerations for Eating Disorder Outpatient Care with Flourish True:

  • Medically stable to receive nutrition counselling in an outpatient setting for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Orthorexia, Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders (OSFED)

  • Openness to collaborative care: willingness to work together with your medical care provider (Physician/Nurse Practitioner) and licensed mental health clinician (Social Worker/Psychotherapist) while receiving nutrition support

  • 14+ years of age (parental/caregiver consent required for minors <18 years of age)

In this 60 minute session, we’ll explore your health concerns, lifestyle, and nutrition habits. Together, we’ll discuss personalized strategies that align with your goals and set the foundation for your journey.

Schedule Your Initial Session:

Your plan will be tailored to your unique needs, ensuring it’s realistic, flexible, and supportive. I’ll also collaborate with your care team to create a well-rounded approach to healing and long-term well-being.

Personalized Nutrition Care:

Regular 45 minute check-ins will help you stay on track and adjust as needed. I’ll also coordinate with your healthcare team to ensure you receive seamless, comprehensive support throughout your journey.

Are meal plans included?

We don’t offer strict or prescriptive meal plans—instead, we support you in learning to trust your body and make food choices that feel good both physically and emotionally. That said, we know a little structure can be helpful, especially when you're building confidence with gentle nutrition. We work with you to determine meal ideas and recipe suggestions that are tailored for you. It’s all about supporting your relationship with food in a way that feels nourishing, not restrictive.

What can I expect from sessions with Julie?

New clients begin with an initial session with Julie, followed by weekly or bi-weekly check-ins—or whatever frequency feels most supportive for you. Julie recommends committing to at least 3 months to allow for meaningful, lasting behaviour change. Some clients choose to continue longer, depending on their goals. Ultimately, the goal is for you to gain the tools and confidence to flourish independently.

What kind of support is available between sessions?

Yes! Ongoing support is a key part of the process. Between sessions, you’ll have unlimited access to Julie through secure messaging for questions, encouragement, or reflections that come up along the way. You’ll also be able to use optional food and lifestyle logs to track patterns, receive feedback, and stay connected to your goals—without pressure or judgment.
